The Flood

Luckily the rain didn't fall on our community musical of "The Flood" in Birkenhead Park, although the wind was a bit blustery. The Village Choir (Wallasey village churches together) and the members of Totally Talented Music Workshop who joined us sang to appreciative audiences who came to see The Mysteries - a pilot project produced by Active Drama.

The Young People of Active Drama have worked all summer on this project and performed bible stories and beautiful original songs around the lake. These same young people assisted with "The Flood" as unfortunately the Allendale Youth Club could not attend to be the animals. Thanks to them for holding the colourful display of hand-made animal masks and to Active Drama for all their support.

The previous day King's Church Revelations Youth group had performed a wonderful rendition of the Moses story to the music of Bohemian Rapsody.

Our special thanks to The Shannon Family - David, Rob and Carole and all the choir members who meet at Claremont church Hall and to Kenny, Stef, James and Mel for their peformances.
